CREATING AN ISLAND AND BUILDING A STORY

Population: 15,000

 

  1. You will be given the Shape of the Island?

  2. It is between 5 to 10 square miles. About the size of Nipoma, Ca

  3. The island must include:

    1. Sandy Beaches

    2. Forests and  Jungles

    3. Areas for people to live: villages, towns, developed cities

    4. Developed areas and areas that are left untouched.

    5. Create at least five types of flora and fauna that exist on the island. 

 

Questions to answer:

 

What is the weather like?

  • How does the weather change with the seasons? 

  • There needs to be at least two types of weather/at least two seasons. 

  • The weather affects the animals, vegetation, tourism, etc. of the island.

 

Economical Aspects of the Society to build upon these ideas and think about how they survive.

For Example: Do They Use Animals For Labor? Do They Eat Animals, Or Animal Products (Such As Milk)?

 

What is the Industry On The Island

  • Kinds Of Technology

  • At Least One Large Businesses

  • At Least One Factory

  • What Do They Produce?Describe How You Create And Distribute Goods And Services Among Yourself.

 

Each island is unique. There are many things that are common among the Panther Islands. We are looking at the differences. Your project focuses on the differences.
