Art is a process, an experience, an activity.  It is not to be done last minute.  It is to be nurtured and developed not shuffled, labeled and stuffed.  It takes time; it needs its problems to be solved; its misdirection redirected and an artist’s education tended.  More time is needed to create something out of nothing.  The artist’s creation is a mixture of discipline, creativity, discovery and development.  Have fun, have disappointment, have discovery, have motivation.  Art is finished because of a date due, a work sold or an artist’s complete satisfaction.

The first two are easier.
